An open-air festival celebrating sparkling wines, exquisite gastronomy, music and Mediterranean hedonism will take place on July 10 and 11 at Stjepan Radić Square in Crikvenica. Organized by the Crikvenica Tourist Board and the City of Crikvenica, in collaboration with the Kvarner Wines Association, the International Sparkling Wine Festival showcases the best of the Croatian and global sparkling wine scenes.
A unique lineup of ten
The event will feature everything from the finest Croatian sparkling wines sourced from Plešivica, Istria, Kvarner, and Slavonia to prestigious international brands from Champagne, Franciacorta, Prosecco, and Cava regions. Kvarner Wines will present ten sparkling wines made from indigenous grape varieties, reinforcing Kvarner’s identity as one of the Mediterranean's most intriguing boutique wine regions.
Oysters and scampi
#JustSparkle also boasts a carefully curated gastronomic program: the Oyster Bar by Dida, Scampi Bar by Burin, and Finger Food by Esplanade will provide premium bites to pair with the sparkling wines, while a DJ set, dance performances and a vibrant open-air summer atmosphere guarantee a great time.
A relaxed wine & food party
Admission is free and there are no table reservations: the event is designed as a relaxed urban wine & food party. Drinks are purchased using vouchers, wine glasses can be rented at the festival stand, and food is paid for directly at the various food stalls.
