Thirty years ago, few could have imagined how far this story would go, and today we have the responsibility to continue building upon that success. The main goal is to connect a new generation of winemakers and create a platform where they can collaborate, exchange experiences, and develop new ideas.
Gianna Kozlović leads young vintners
It is important to us that new generations become active creators of new trends and values, adopting a modern approach to promotion and production, said re-elected president of Vinistra Luka Rossi.
As part of Vinistra, a body named GEN V (Generation Vinistra) was established on May 8th of this year. Led by Gianna Kozlović, it brings together more than 40 winemakers from the new generation. Through this initiative, the association aims to ensure the continuity and long-term sustainability of the Istrian wine story.
Vinistra with a clear vision
Rossi also stated that he is assuming his new term with the same sense of responsibility as he did four years ago, but with greater experience and a clearer vision for Vinistra’s development. He thanked all the members for their trust, as well as his predecessors, Ivica Matošević and Nikola Benvenuti, for the solid foundations they laid.
At the electoral assembly, winemakers elected Josip Barišić as Vice-President of Vinistra. Ivan Damjanić, Lara Zgrablić, Marko Krstačić, David Deklić, Ivica Matošević, Nikola Benvenuti and Gianfranco Kozlović were elected to the Supervisory Board. Ivan Marić remains the Director of Vinistra for the next four years,. He recently became the Vice-President of the Croatian Winemaking Association within the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
