This recognition demonstrates how the OIV headquarters is home to the world's grapevine and wine sector, said CEO John Barker

Patrimoine de la Diplomatie (Diplomatic Heritage) is the name of a French state award for international cooperation bestowed upon the Hôtel Bouchu dit d’Esterno in Dijon, which also houses the headquarters of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV). The French government grants this distinction to sites that have historically hosted significant diplomatic events.

We are delighted with this confirmation of the OIV headquarters as the home of the world grapevine and wine sector. It is also a tribute to the mission that the OIV has been carrying out since its foundation, which includes promoting international cooperation, dialogue between nations and raising technical and scientific standards in the global vine and wine sector, said John Barker, Director General of the OIV.
