There are also fine wines in Drniš. The Vizzulin winery offers a very good white made from Maraština, and several excellent red wines. A wonderful Merlot is memorable. Only 15 kilometers from Drniš is Oklaj with several good wineries. Ivica Džapo, in addition to the classic white varieties of this region, Debit and Maraština, also plays nicely with Sauvignon. Among the reds, he again has the local small-large Lasina variety, and his Merlot is also remembered for a long time. Neighbor Marko Džapo also has Debit and Maraština from white varieties, and from reds, the local Plavina and worldwide known Merlot. On the way from Drniš to Oklaj, it is worth stopping at the Ško vina winery. Their Debit was gold in this year's Decanter evaluation, and they can also boast a very fine Merlot.

Šibenik mussels with prosciutto from Drniš will be prepared on Friday, the first day of the Festival, by members of the Šibenik Craftsmen Association with colleagues from the Drniš Craftsmen Association. The idea, they say, is not just to offer visitors something delicious, but to show how well the two great gastronomic traditions of the Šibenik-Knin County complement each other. On the second day, August 29, Slavonian stew, Baranja fish paprikash and traditional Drniš ušice and nojice will be cooked. It will be a gastro route from Slavonia and Baranja to Šibenik and Drniš. The organizers have prepared an exhibition and sales program, tastings, activities and workshops for children, as well as music on both days.
